Tai Chi is gentle, graceful, yet powerful. It can be practiced by anyone. Tai Chi has shown to be enormously effective for young and old and has improved the quality of life for those facing arthritis and Parkinson’s Disease. With an understanding of the “chi” or energy center, one becomes aware of the enormous potential of the body to move with total efficiency, relaxation and power.
During this workshop students will study the philosophical and technical foundation of the Tai Chi Yang Style with David Hirschorn PhD. Students will learn a full 2 minute sequence along with daily warm up and meditation practices for beginners.
