About New Acropolis

New Acropolis Cultural Association in Atlanta is dedicated to helping all people in metro-Atlanta live more meaningful and thoughtful lives through an active discovery of the world’s wisdom through its sacred, philosophical and artistic traditions.

We aim to help move society towards greater degrees of self-knowledge and social responsibility through the promotion of philosophical knowledge, eastern and western wisdom, and culture.

We believe that a life inspired by the world's wisdom will naturally seek out ways to support social efforts in the world which serve the needs of human beings, spreading tolerance, fraternity, and unity.

All over the world a program of studies is taught in successive levels and is an indispensable requirement for membership of New Acropolis. It presents an updated version of traditional knowledge, a holistic form of education which, like classical humanism, links Sciences, Arts, Religions and Philosophies in a comparative way and tries to discover, through research, the laws governing Nature and the Human Being.

The history of humanity has left us with a rich inheritance stretching back over thousands of years. New Acropolis wants to preserve this universal heritage and make it accessible to everyone.

Through our program of seminars, courses, and theatrical presentations, we offer the opportunity for individuals to rediscover the enormous potential of the human being when the mind and heart are engaged in meaningful ideas and by promoting a spirit of community service and concern for the welfare of others.
